Sometimes, we use prayer as an excuse not to act in faith. When we feel a deep conviction in our hearts to take a step of faith, we say, “Let me pray about it again.” As Christians, we need to learn to act by trusting God’s sovereignty, just as a child trusts his father and mother.
We can see how the Israelites behaved when they faced the crisis of the Red Sea in front of them and Pharaoh behind them. God had already shown His glory and performed miracles by delivering them from slavery, yet in the middle of a new crisis, they panicked.
