It often seems that bad news spreads faster than good news because negativity attracts more attention. That is the reality of the world we live in today.
Yet this should not surprise us. It is a reminder that we live in a sinful and broken world. At the same time, it reminds us of our responsibility as followers of Christ. Rather than simply observing the darkness around us, we are called to be the light of the world, bringing the hope of the Gospel and making an eternal difference in the lives of those around us.
